A small distortion made from combining marks

This tool adds one or two marks to letter or number graphemes using the existing fixed-strength transform. Try other glitches changes the pattern of marks without adding another layer to a previously generated result.

Start with ordinary text

Keep the input short. The tool accepts up to 160 visible characters and 1,000 Unicode code points, and rejects inputs that already contain heavy stacks of combining marks. This avoids repeatedly building up an unreadable effect.

Glitch text is not an image effect

The result is selectable Unicode text, not a corrupted file, image filter or video effect. Combining marks can render differently across apps and fonts. Avoid glitch styling for names people must search for or information they need to read accurately.
