Three different ways to make text look small

Small caps resemble reduced capital letters. Superscript uses raised characters; subscript uses lowered characters. These are different Unicode character sets, not changes to CSS font size. Compare them before choosing the look that fits your words.

Tiny letters have incomplete coverage

Superscript and subscript do not contain a complete matching alphabet for every language. Unsupported letters and digits remain unchanged and are listed beneath the result. Avoid treating the output as a complete mathematical notation system.

Keep small text short

A brief profile detail or short label is easier to read than a long paragraph of tiny characters. Use ordinary text for contact details, instructions and links. Copy a result and check its readability in the destination app.
